Insane kid writes Windows emulator on Commodore 64
This poor kid only had a C64 but wanted to use Windows, so he wrote his own version in BASIC.
Oh by the way Corel Draw, Notepad, Excel, yep, he wrote versions of those too.

Firefox OS Developer Preview Phones Announced
Mozilla announced yesterday Firefox OS developer preview phones will be available in February through a partnership with Geeksphone.
The software environment is HTML5/CSS/Javascript/Web APIs just as the good Jobs originally intended for the iPhone.
